Lake George, NY: Dockside Landing, the Lake George region’s Formula dealer, held its 3rd annual Formula Rendezvous during the weekend of July 21st, 2007. Over 30 Formula boats participated in this two-day customer appreciation event, held on the shores of Black Mountain Point on beautiful Lake George. In attendance on Saturday were special guests, Formula Vice President Grant Porter and wife Deb Porter. Sunny skies welcomed Formula Rendezvous attendees on Saturday to a fantastic lakeside b-b-q style lunch with all the fixins’. As the day progressed, eager Formula boaters participated in friendly games of volleyball, horseshoes, badminton, and a hugely popular scavenger hunt. As the sun was setting, local crooner Mike Cummings played requests while hungry Formula boaters feasted on a bountiful dinner buffet. The evening was then capped off with lucky Formula boaters sailing off with tons of Formula Gear, courtesy of Thunderbird/Formula. Another picture-perfect day on Lake George was on tap for Sunday, with warm temperatures and bright sunshine. Formula boaters arrived once again at Black Mountain Point for one more picnic before heading south to Red Rock Bay for a raft-up party and more give-a-ways, including a water trampoline! Dockside Landing’s annual Formula Rendezvous concluded once again with renowned Adirondack photographer Joe Kaye circling in a helicopter snapping a group photo of all of the beautiful Formula boats.
